PRINCE HARRY: OPEN SECRET
Prince "Hambo" Harry's recent jaunt to the battlefields of Afghanistan may have been known to Al Queada because of "new" media Internet gossip.
Claims that the Drudge Report may be to blame for the outing of 'Hambo' (as he is now known) are contradicted by the facts. Not only had the prince's whereabouts been made known by Australian publication New Idea a month before, which often features articles about the royals, but Internet speculation placed Prince Harry's life in the danger he so wanted. http://www.theroyalforums.com/ scrutinises every move that members of the royal family make. Is it any wonder that many posters to the site where asking why Prince Harry had disappeared in mid-December? Many found the photo call prince's absence rather curious and speculated as to where, after training in Canada, he had gone: Afghanistan they concluded unanimously. (Pic, News of the World.)
So it was not the Drudge Report that compromised the Royal's safety, but the plan to insert such a high profile figure into the combat zone in the first place. The worst best kept secret in the world was that the Prince was training in Canada in the same grounds where his troops had trained prior to their being packed off to the kill. Presumably the army chiefs were reluctant to send Harry Wales into the war zone, but, having been forced by powers on high majesty to comply, they formulated a plan that was 'certain to fail.'
"Operation Hambo" a source told TheBigRetort was 'a complete and utter success in its failings. He got in but we sure as hell knew how to get him out'
